Paul Peck joined the Solstice at Santa Rosa team in December 2019. He graduated from La Roche University in Pittsburgh, Pa., with a master’s degree in human resource management focused on employee and organizational development. He has worked in senior independent living, assisted living and memory care for over 18 years. Paul is active in his church and with the Boy Scouts and also chairs the Catholic Committee on Scouting. He is an avid softball player in the summer and can be seen at the local gym six days a week.
Director of Sales and Marketing
Steven Eggert is the director of Sales and Marketing for Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa. He joined the Solstice team with more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, the majority of which have been in the senior living industry. He has a proven track record in increasing occupancy levels, resident retention initiatives, facilities management and remodeling, as well as budgetary management.
Prior to joining Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa, he served as the sales director for Forest Hills Retirement Community in Pacific Grove, California.
Business Office Director
Ericka Allen is the Business Office director for Solstice at Santa Rosa. Originally from Vallejo, California, Ericka has been with the community for nearly six years. Her favorite part about working at Solstice is the interactions with residents. She enjoys the feeling of being needed and making a difference in their lives – it gives her strength and motivation to continue being an advocate for seniors. She is thankful for her residents – they are wise and heartwarming.
Ericka is a die-hard musical fan and memorized the entire “Frozen II” soundtrack in a week. She’s thankful for the opportunity to work at Solstice and looks forward to what the future holds and the bonds to be made.
Culinary Services Director
Prior to joining Solstice, Jesse was the senior regional executive chef for Bon Appétit Management Company for Google. Before that, he served over 11 years as executive chef at the iconic Palace Hotel in San Francisco. He has served as executive chef for The Houstonian Club & Spa in Texas, St. Regis Los Angeles, Vail Cascade Resort and Spa, and Whitehall Hotel in Chicago, and his first executive chef position was at the Harborside Hyatt Hotel in Boston.
Prior to becoming an executive chef, he worked as the executive sous chef for the Hyatt Regency in Washington, D.C., and as the garde manger chef at the Grand Hyatt Wailea Resort in Maui, Moscone Marriott and Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco.
Jesse graduated from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and completed his internship at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris in 1989. He uses his culinary talents to support many community organizations and is actively involved in food and wine events. He was the recipient of the prestigious Distinguished Chef Award from the American Institute of Food and Wine.
Jesse prepares dishes influenced by his appreciation for classical French technique and his own modern style. He has been given the opportunity to showcase his cuisine globally and cook for United States presidents and “A-list” celebrities. Jesse’s unique blend of cuisines and use of the finest seasonal ingredients result in a creative signature menu with fresh California flair.
Vibrant Life® Director
Christina Cruz is the Vibrant Life® director for Solstice Senior Living at Santa Rosa. She’s been in this role for two months.
Her favorite part about Solstice is being able to work and care for the seniors, calling it a true honor. She says, “Our seniors have given so much and have made it possible for us to enjoy the life we are living now. Being able to support our seniors in finding what brings them each purpose, passion, meaning and joy in their daily lives is honestly the best job one can ever have.”
A fun fact about Christina is that she helped put out fires around the community she previously worked at. She used a small garbage bin to help keep the flames from overtaking a building on fire.
